The items include collectibles, antiques and art, and were seized in connection with an investigation that led to two arrests, police said.
he items will be on display on Saturday Sept. 6, and Saturday Sept 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 236 Evergreen St.
The items are believed to have been stolen from storage facilities on State Street Extension and on Fairfield Avenue, police said. Victims must have a police report itemizing the stolen property.
In June, Joshua Bamman, 39, and Kathleen Falcone, 34, both of Weston, were arrested by warrant when Bridgeport detectives executed three search-and-seizure warrants in search of stolen items.
According to Detective Jorge Cintron, who led the investigation, a large number of items, including collectibles, antiques and art, were recovered.
The two break-ins in Bridgeport were reported on May 17 several hours apart. The combined value of the items stolen was estimated by the victims at more than $100,000. Some of the items have been identified and returned to the owners but additional items remain unclaimed.
